Hi I'm Christina!

Behind the camera

I am a wife, mama, accountant and a 8 year business owner! I'm so grateful to be able to call photography my business and not just a passion of mine!

I have always been creative, from as long as I remember. My dad always had either a camera on hand or a paint brush! I think this is where my passion started. Once I picked up a camera for myself, I became more and more passionate and involved, to a point where my perspective changed, to see beauty in all.

I loved capturing anything and everything at first, I experimented with different styles of photography, however it was my own new-born son that sparked an inspiration in me. Never having enough photos of us together and feeling teary every time I had to put away his tiny cloths, because he was ever growing. Being able to capture his every milestone and early childhood that kept drawing me back into photography.

I soon realised that I'm not the only one that wanted time frozen, for the babies to stay tiny and cute, to capture the pure power of a woman and first moments of this immense love for something we just created. Thus was born Capture Generation! And 2025 marks 8 years of me doing this.

I left my accounting role over 2 years ago to persue my passion! Capture Generation gave my creative right side freedom and running my business gave my left side the kick it craved! I've invested time researching and practising to develop my confidence and technique in photographing babies, children, and families and am committed to ongoing learning.

But most of all, I devoted myself to creating my own unique style. My aim is to end our session with a new found friendship. I hope to create a relaxing environment for my families to be themselves and capture beautiful moments for families to treasure forever. Years will pass in the blink of an eye and these moments will soon be just a distant memory.  It’s so special to record those early years. I hope we can be friends and work together soon!

Lots of Love,Christina
